Frequently asked questions

How does the birthday card mailing service work?+
You tell us your friend’s name, birthday, and mailing address. Then you pick a card design and write a personal message. About a week before their birthday, we print the card, put it in an envelope, and mail it via USPS so it arrives on time. This happens automatically every year.
Can I change the card or message after I set it up?+
Yes. Log into your account, go to “My Friends,” and update the card design, message, or mailing address whenever you want. Changes apply to the next mailing as long as we haven’t printed it yet. We generally print two weeks before your friend’s birthday.
What if my friend moves to a new address?+
Just update their mailing address in your account and the next birthday card will go to the right place. No extra charge.
Do you mail birthday cards outside the United States?+
Not yet. Right now we mail birthday cards to addresses within the United States only. International shipping is something we’re looking into for the future.
Can I send automatic birthday cards to multiple people?+
Absolutely. Each person is a separate $5/year subscription. Add as many friends, family members, or coworkers as you want. We keep track of every birthday and mail each card on time.
Can I cancel my birthday card subscription?+
Yes, cancel anytime from your account. If we’ve already mailed the card for the current year, your friend will still receive it. There are no cancellation fees.
